Thanks for the question Dan.
I checked out Credit Karma’s website URL, http://www.creditkarma.com/, on Trend Micro’s Site Safety Center, http://global.sitesafety.trendmicro.com/, where you can get ratings for URLs according to our Web Reputation Service. Here is what I found out:
I also checked out the URL with the Web of Trust, http://www.mywot.com, which rates URLs based on feedback from the WOT community. WOT rated Credit Karma’s website as highly reputable in terms of trustworthiness, vendor reliability, privacy and child safety.
Based on these findings I’m inclined to think that Credit Karma is a reputable company that offers a legitimate product and hosts a website that is *not* malicious. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the credit score they give you. So if you decide to try the service I suggest you get credit score from a competing service to see if the score that this company gives you agrees with what you get from Credit Karma.
