Do you need some Internet security advice or information—without a sales pitch? Do you want to educate yourself about Internet threats and how to avoid becoming a victim? We’ve got just the place for you. It’s a mini-website called Internet Safety @ Home.
You should check it out. There’s everything you need to know about protecting yourself online, without a “hard sell” to buy something from us at Trend Micro.
As you know, the Internet is a big inter-connected digital community. And if there’s a weakness in the links that connect us all, then we’re all more vulnerable. If one of us comes under attack, the rest of us could be next. So the safer you are, the safer we’ll all be. That’s why we encourage you to learn more about online security, even if you’re not looking to spend a little cash for a lot of protection right now.
The Internet Safety @ Home micro-website is all about how to use the Internet safely. It includes E-guides, free security tools, lessons for keeping kids safe online, lists of the latest articles from our Trendsetter newsletter, and a link to subscribe to receive the monthly publication via email.
There are three specific areas of concern defined on the Internet Safety @ Home site, with each meriting its own page for deeper dives and more helpful tips. The areas of concern are 1) Securing Your Privacy; 2) Protecting Your Online Assets; and 3) Safeguarding Your Family.
The Internet Safety @ Home page also includes a number of How-To videos for our Trend Micro Titanium Security customers, and access to the blog by Lynette Owens – a children and families security expert at Trend Micro.
