		<description>I would suggest going to ADD/REVOVE PROGRAMS and uninstalling the updates from Microsoft. It is common for them to patch virus engine code and block antivirus settings. If nothing else you could change the binary code permissions in your registry. If you not sure how to do this seek outside, changing access and user permissions in the registry could cause damage if not done correctly.</description>

		<description>I suspect that there is a problem with the most recent update from Trend Micro conflicting with the Microsoft updates.

Both the Microsoft and Trend Micro update were automatically completed on my Vista based computer this afternoon, and after this occurred, Trend Micro Internet Security began blocking information sent and received from my ISP&#039;s e-mail server.  When I shut down Trend Micro Internet Security, the problem does not occur.

I have been looking to see what settings within Internet Security might be causing this, but so far have not been able to identify them.

Please help.
