You may not like scammers, but you have to give them one thing: they’re a determined lot.
Of course, they would keep trying again and again. Look at this phishing email that Trend Micro Advanced Threats Analyst Joey Costoya found recently:

If this looks just a bit familiar, well, it should. It’s the usual 419 Scam, just adapted to current events.
With the Beijing Olympics now in full swing, you can bet that all the usual suspects will be trying hard to part fans from their hard-earned money. It’s not just scammers; phishers are having a go at it as well. Users should keep this in mind: if it’s too good to be true, it probably is.
Trend Micro users are already protected by the Smart Protection Network; other users should exercise care if this scam arrives in their e-mail.
It is only Day 3 of the quadrennial event, but the attacks that banked on the Beijing Olympics have started way before Day One:
