AV-TEST: Trend Micro™ Internet Security Two-Time Winner

For the second time in 2016, AV-Test Institute has awarded Trend Micro™ Internet Security 10 a Top Product Certificate among a field of 22 products tested. The testing report from March-April 2016 continues to show you don’t have to sacrifice the performance of your PC to get the best protection from malware—if you choose Trend Micro Security.

Highlights of the report show Trend Micro Security provided 100% protection against malicious web and email threats in a variety of scenarios without negatively effecting performance and usability.  The results for Protection, Performance, and Usability are given below. More details on the test results can be obtained here on the AV-TEST Institute website.

REPORT: Trend Micro Security Delivers 100% Protection Against Web Threats

We at Trend Micro are proud to announce Trend Micro Internet Security 10 (2016) provided 100% detection against web threats in the AV-COMPARATIVES April 2016 report, entitled “Whole-Product Dynamic Real-World Protection Test.”

The results are based on a test set of 368 malicious URLs found in the wild. AV-Comparative pitted our product against a set of malicious URLs the average user typically faces when surfing online and 18 other security products.  Trend Micro received 100% detection of all test URLs.  ­See the results in the graph below.  The full AV Comparatives test results can be viewed here.
