Rapidly Deploy Deep Security with the New AWS Quick Start

When moving workloads into the cloud, the traditional on premise approach to security just doesn’t translate. Trend Micro is dedicated to helping you fulfill your part of the Shared Security Responsibility Model through a software-based security control deployed inside your instances. Simply put, it’s the evolution of perimeter security – enabling each instance to protect itself.

Managing security is an important aspect of your implementation and, like your business, you need the right deployment model to meet your needs.  Trend Micro Deep Security for AWS is available as SaaS or as on-premises software, and for AWS users, nothing can match the ease of acquiring software through the AWS marketplace.

Nothing that is, until today…

Amazon Web Services has released a new AWS Quick Start Reference Deployment guide focused on simplifying the deployment of an ideal configuration of Deep Security from the AWS Marketplace. The Quick Start deployment guide includes an AWS CloudFormation template, to streamline the set-up of management components of Deep Security, including the highly-available database, Deep Security managers and the network configuration. Because this is deployed into your AWS account, you keep complete control of your deployment and the data collected by Deep Security, and you can choose the size and configuration that is right for you.

In the deployment guide, written by Ryan Holland, the ideal reference architecture is laid out for a Deep Security management cluster, and the CloudFormation template streamlines the configuration of the software so you can get up and running quicker than ever.

On the AWS Quick Start site, you can also find reference deployments for Microsoft, SAP and Big Data. Take a look at the new AWS Quick Start guide for Trend Micro Deep Security, and share your feedback!
