Organizations today hold a massive amount of highly sensitive information that is being targeted for cybercrime, corporate espionage and beyond. In this era of highly sophisticated attacks by well-funded and aggressive adversaries, it’s incumbent upon organizations to have proper procedures and mechanisms in place to keep data secure. The stakes are high with legal and civil liabilities, as well as corporate reputations on the line.

To stay ahead of next generation cyberthreats, Booz Allen and Trend Micro have announced a collaborative effort to protect, defend and stave off current and future attacks. This relationship will join Booz Allen’s Predictive Threat Intelligence consulting and integration services with Trend Micro’s world class threat intelligence capabilities and research, giving clients an on-demand view of their cyber threat landscape.

Through proactive detection of targeted threats, malware analysis and security operations center support, IT departments will be able to better analyze, assess and thwart the rising number of cybersecurity threats. With major corporations, retailers and government agencies making headlines for breaches at a record pace, this initiative will help to better understand and guard against attacks.

Investing in advanced protections should be a priority for forward-thinking companies and the Trend Micro team looks forward to working with Booz Allen to bring innovation and insight to our collective user base.

We strongly believe that companies across industries should constantly seek opportunities to work together as cybercrime continues to escalate. This announcement is just one step, but maintaining this momentum will be essential to the ultimate goal of making the world safe for exchanging digital information.
